Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers

This course is designed to teach the skills of CPR for victims of all ages (including ventilation with barrier device and bag-mask), use of an automated external defibrillator (AED), Maternal Cardiac Arrest, Opioid Associated Life Threatening Emergency and relief of foreign body airway obstruction (FBAO).

Target Audience:

Healthcare providers, such as physicians, nurses, paramedics, emergency medical technicians, respiratory therapists, physical and occupational therapists, physician’s assistants, residents or fellows, medical or nursing students, aides, medical or nursing assistants, firefighters and other allied health personnel.

Bloodborne Pathogens

This course is designed to meet Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements when used with site-specific training. This training is for students with limited or no medical training who need to know how to protect themselves and their coworkers from exposures.

Target Audience:

Childcare Workers, Security Guards, Maintenance Workers, School Personnel, Hotel housekeepers, Health and fitness club staff and Tattoo artists.

Heartsaver First Aid, CPR, and AED

This course integrates training in on-the-scene first aid along with CPR (adult, child and infant) and the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED). This course is designed to train the lay rescuer to correctly respond to illness and injury on the worksite or in daily life. This class teaches what to do in the first few minutes of an illness or injury before professional help arrives. This course will help employers fulfill their OSHA or United States Coast Guard licensure.

Target Audience:

Law enforcement officers, firefighters, flight attendants, lifeguards, childcare workers, scout leaders, maritime employees, family and friends.

Heartsaver Safe Sitter with First Aid, CPR, and AED

This course is designed to prepare students in grades 6-8 to be safe when they are home alone, watching younger siblings, or babysitting. This instructor-led class is filled with fun games and role-playing exercises. Students will practice rescue skills such as CPR and First Aid.
