Somerset Central dispatches the Princess Anne Police Department and the Somerset County Sheriffs Department 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and the Crisfield Police Department from Midnight to 8:00 a.m. every day and 24 hours on Sundays. Calls necessitating response from Maryland State Police, Natural Resources Police, or the University of Maryland Eastern Shore Campus Police are transferred to those agencies.
